HOLD ON, MOLLY!

In 1756, in the province of Maine, a young English woman is kidnapped during an Indian massacre and sold into servitude in French Quebec. Her sea captain suitor, in order to rescue her, must sail up the St. Lawrence river into the heart of the French-and-Indian War with a crew of misfits.

Principal roles are Molly, her sister Alice, the Captain, his first-mate Fernly, the Lemoines (Molly's owners in Quebec), Moosehead, and a laconic Indian leader trying to make the best of a bitter conflict on his turf between two foreign powers. Cast of 12 or more.
